Cardiovascular Improvement

People suffering from cold hands and feet are more likely individuals with some kind of blood circulation disorder. Various factors might influence including smoking, stress, hormone unbalance, hypertension, thrombosis, arteriosclerosis and so on. One of the endothelium functions of the blood vessels is to maintain microcirculation smooth. However increase of oxidative stress due to hyperglycemia might induce malfunction of the endothelium, resulting in reducing the production of NO (nitric oxide) and making the body more vulnerable to blood vessel reduction, inflammation or arthrosclerosis.

Peripheral Blood Circulation Improvement

Thermographic pictures taken of a 43-year-old healthy male (Dosage: 600mg once) show a clear increase in superficial body temperature implying an increase of blood flow as a result of dilatation of peripheral vessels. This result suggests that Oligonol might act as a vasodilator being effective for a variety of vasoconstriction symptoms such as cold hands and feet, shoulder discomfort and diabetes vascular problems.

Low Dose Study

Objective: To study the effect of the low-dose Oligonol intake on increasing blood flow as a result of dilatation of peripheral vessels by observation of thermographic pictures.
Subjects: Two healthy male volunteers (34-year-old and 41-year-old) who do not consume supplements.
Pre-treatment: Both subjects took 50mg capsules twice a day (in the morning and in the evening) for a week prior to the test.
Dosage: 50mg once
Observation: Thermographic pictures of arms and palms.
Result: Clear increase in superficial body temperature was observed in 30 to 120 minutes after taking Oligonol (50mg once).

Antioxidant Effect

It is known that polyphenol has strong antioxidant effect helping to remove the excess of free radicals and preventing from lifestyle diseases and aging. It is expected that highly bioavailable Oligonol helps to control the production of oxidants in blood.

Protection of Blood Vessel Endothelium

mt_noneIn physiological conditions in a culture of endothelial cells and Bradykinin (chemical mediator), the endothelial cells are able to generate NO (nitric oxide) regularly. However the capacity of the endothelium to produce NO decreases when glucose is in high concentration. Research has shown that it is possible to avoid the reduction of NO production capacity in the endothelium by adding Oligonol (100 亮g/ml) even in conditions of high glucose concentration. Also it has been verified that Oligonol induces the activation of endothelium SOD (Superoxide Dismutase). Based on these findings, it has become clear that Oligonol protects blood vessel endothelium function from damages produced by conditions such as high glucose content.
